LITTLE STAR
PRACTICAL RESOURCE BOOK

A soon to be released practical resource book, which contains musical notation, chords and lyrics to all the songs, creative activities and ideas will also be available to accompany the album. It is user friendly and is designed to enable parents, caregivers and teachers alike, to share in the in the joy of discovering the music with their children.

The ideas and activities for each song are systematically divided up into the following categories: Talking, Looking, Listening, Singing, Playing-Imagining, Moving, Making and Writing.

These ideas and activities link to many Key Learning Areas, for example: Creative Arts, English, Science and H.S.I.E. (Human Society and Its Environment), which means you can use this resource as part of the broader school curriculum.

These activities and ideas are simply starting points, a springboard to help you add your creative input – also, the ideas and activities can be interchanged with other songs.

Happy learning, doing, playing and singing!

LET’S LIVE AS ONE
PRACTICAL RESOURCE BOOK

A soon to be released practical resource book, which contains musical notation of the songs, chords, lyrics, creative ideas and discussion points, will also be available to accompany the album.

I designed the book to enable parents, caregivers and teachers to share the joy of discovering the music with their children.

For teachers this resource may be used with themes linked within the Key Learning Areas of English and H.S.I.E. (Human Society and It’s Environment). For example, ‘Beautiful World’, focuses on our unique planet and our environmental responsibilities; ‘Better World’, ‘Let’s Live As One’ and ‘It’s Calling On You’, link with the themes – The Global Village and Communities. Cross-curriculum activities are linked to each song, bringing together subjects like science and the creative arts.

Overall, the songs emphasise global harmony and responsibility, which I hope will lead children and the adults around them to creative exploration and discussion.
